June 16-17, 2008 – Here At The Homestead

The full-size copies of 5 photos in this post are missing, so clicking them opens a “Not Found” page. They were lost from the blog years ago, before this copy was made. If you have any of them, please send them to genealogy@kyle.engineer.

About all you can say about the last few days is its been cold, hot, wet and busy. Lotsa of mowing going on Saturday getting ready for the coming over for fathers day. And a very busy time Sunday with Matt and Laura and families over for home made ice cream (the best in years) and kraut paddies/rolls or whatever you call them. Everyone left about nine last night after watching golf.

But all thru the night we had thunder and rain, at least starting around 2 AM. And its been raining ever since. I know places to our north have had over 5 inches but we’re at about 2 inches here at the house.

Here are a few of the pictures from yesterday.

Moving your pointer over the picture gives a picture title and clicking picture  will make the picture larger. To return to the entry, go to the left arrow at the left of the address line.
