Well, another day and all four eggs have now hatched. The family is completed for 2011.
Mr. and Mrs. Robin are announcing the arrival of three (3) new family members. One more to go.

Below are some of the current pictures of Tom’s family that I picked up from the Internet. I should say “most of Tom’s Family” as I didn’t see any pictures of Mary or her family, at least current pictures. As a matter of fact I can’t find Mary in Facebook. There are too many Mary Butterworth’s in Facebook and many of those are without pictures.
I do believe some of these may be older pictures but maybe not.

Everyone should know by now that Stephanie, Dick and Shirley’s grand-daughter, and Steve and Carol’s daughter, is a freshman at TCU. She is also a member of the TCU Dance Team.
Below are a few pictures to show that she has gone from the support of the football and basketball teams and now to the team base ball team. The first picture below makes me hurt. Keep up the good work as well as the grades.

Every time I see Phil’s kids on the Internet I’m really surprised.
Now Phil isn’t a small guy like some of us, as I think he will go an inch or so over 6 feet tall. But when I saw the picture below I was really take “aback”. How tall is Brady going to get anyway? He has to be and inch or two taller than Phil now and I think he’s only in his freshman year in High School.
To think we only had one guy in my senior year over 6 feet 3. Maybe they feed them different food in Texas.

Phil and Brady
It seems like every few months I get to see pictures of family members out on Face-book or some place on the Internet. I usually try to capture them (if they are copyable) so I will have a look at the changes in features. I certainly hope no one takes offence with my publishing them on this BLOG.
In this case Sandra and family look more and more alike each year. It use to be I was troubled with trying to tell the twins apart. Now all the kids as well as Sandra look a lot alike. Hope I’ve gotten the names correct.
We’ve been having storms for the last few weeks in Oklahoma and they have been all over the state. Over this past few days we’ve had over 5 inches of rain and hail here in this part of the state. To the south and east of Tulsa they have had over ten inches of rain and have flooding all over the area. Lucky enough, we’ve (Laura, Matt, Karen and us) been spared the flooding part. The 5 inches I alluded to have been at our place. The rest of the family has had more.
These pictures are of the hail that fell on the 24th and 26st at Laura and Steve’s place north-west of Tulsa in Skiatook. Karen has had larger hail (quarter size) but there are no pictures yet. They were on her phone but hadn’t been uploaded to the Internet yet. We’ve had pea size hail here at our place on the 26st but it was gone before I could get the camera. We got a new roof a few years ago so we don’t mind being left out of those getting hail.
Well, it was on Sunday April 24 that we had a party for Kyle, not the 25 th, his real birth date. It was a necessity as Kyle’s car probably wouldn’t make it to Tulsa from where he lives in Stillwater. Anyway Karen and Greg went over and picked him up. Then Dustin came down with STREP THOAT, so the Langley family didn’t make it. But we all had a good time and there was plenty of good food.
Well, its been two days since I took the picture of Mrs. Robin’s nest and guess what? There are more eggs. I’ll probably now have to look daily hoping she stops this activity soon.
It’s really been a tough month. Not a lot going on around here. We started this month feeling very sorry for ourselves due to the lousy weather and Evelyn’s passing in February. And we’ve just gone from no moisture at all this year (a little lie) to an inch last week while the rest of the state was dealing with tornado’s.
I’ve been able to get flowers planted and just today I got the tomato’s planted. I’m not going for the big tomato’s this year but for the small and medium size. I don’t like to put stuff(spray them that is) on the tomato’s as I don’t like the eating of stuff not really made for man to eat. The large tomatoes spend a lot of time on the plant so they are subject to birds and squirrels eating them or at least part of them. Anyway I’ll go back to the old days of the cherry and medium size plants this year. Azaleas haven’t really grown much this past year and these are two year old plants. The geraniums are those that I’ll take to Marion this Memorial Day.
We also lost a big peach tree this past winter. We had to take it down a couple of weeks ago. We still have a couple of Apple trees and one other peach tree which is only a couple of years old. Hopefully we’ll get a few peaches this year.
I did have to mow again this morning and I did the almost daily cleanup of the driveway after the winds of yesterday. We had 25 to 35 MPH winds yesterday but the winds are only 15 to 20 MPH today, so this is the reason I could get a little done today. Tomorrow we are to have storms again. We’re just on the edge of the storm area but you can tell everyone is ready. The weather guys are really happy today because like last Thursday they will be on the tube from 3 PM until 11 PM tomorrow.
The picture below is of a robins nest on the front porch. Now this is a master piece of work by the mommy and daddy birds. Plus there are two blue eggs. We decided to let them hatch so we will have something to show the grand kids. I’ll also show some of the pictures I took of some of the flowers in the yard.
