I have to be truthful about one of the pictures displayed in the BLOG entry covering our birthdays. As usual I have no pictures of myself and I at least wanted to show I did have a birthday and was in attendance.

So what did I do when it came time to get a picture in the BLOG? Well, it was the following day so I just got out the cake and candles, set down at the table (behind the cake) and took the picture with the remote delay feature on the camera. Needless to say something went wrong. The cake was partly eaten and there was a problem with the candles. The first picture below will show the initial picture. The second picture shows what resulted after some software changes to the first picture.

Now you know the whole story.

Nothing seemed to work out where we could really celebrate the twins birthday and Bud’s birthday on July 16 or July 28. The 16th was on Wednesday, mid week and Matt and Laura and families were to be in Colorado on vacation starting July 26st. So, we had one party on July 20 to celebrate all the birthdays.

The Langley’s had their normal fish fry and fire works at their place northwest of Skiatook. Steve’s brother Glenn and his wife Debbie, his parents Arlene and Pete, and his sister Margaret and younger son Peter from the Dallas area, along with Marie and I, Matt and Kim and their kids Kassidy, Matthew, Katlyn and Alexis were there.

Wii games were played by the kids, some of the adults had a poker game prior to supper being prepared by Steve and Laura. Lots of fried fish and potatoes were available along Home Made Ice Cream made from the Loveless home made ice cream receipt.

Below are some of the pictures I took at the get together. Sorry I didn’t get a picture of Kim.
