Marie and I were going to visit Keith and family and we decided to to ask Alexis if she would like to come along. We were interested in seeing all the goats that Keith had gotten. The goats were to keep the weeds down on Keith’s place. Well, keith also had a dog that kept the goats in a group, so all of this was of interest to us. But I wanted to see Keith’s pigs.  When we got out there we found that Keith also had a wild deer. Hope you enjoy seeing Alexis and the animals.

Peggy Albright and Sean McCasland were married in Muskogee, Oklahoma, on July 19, 2007. The pictures below were taken at  the service and at  the reception.

The trip to Colorado for Matt’s and Laura’s family was very eventful. After they had been there a couple of days, Kim’s mother was life flighted to the hospital in Tulsa. Kim got on a flight to Tulsa leaving Matt and the kids.

On the way back to Tulsa (later in the week) Matt’s (really Kim’s van) transmission went out. They left the van and all pilled in Steve’s pick-up and returned to Tulsa. Matt and Steve went back to tow the van back to Tulsa a few days later. Another 10 days and $1,700 poorer the van was repaired.

Dustin Langley, Laura’s and Steve’s son, was a member of a soccer team in Skiatook. The team received an award for their season accomplishments. Katlyn, Matt’s daughter, is in the second picture. She also received an award for her accomplishments during the spring season.

Evelyn Albright, Marie’s sister, had a hole some place in her eye which required surgery. These pictures give you an idea as to what she had to go through for a month and a half. She had to sleep with her face in that thing. Not a lot of good sleep.

Each year we try to attend Memorial Day at the Loveless Family plot in Marion Kansas as well the Marie’s family grave sites in Fort Gibson Oklahoma. We use to have the lunch in the Marion City Park or at aunt Helen’s cabin. These days we go to the local Pizza Hut and have lunch. This year Cleo and her daughter Nancy and husband Marlin Miller were also in attendance.

Its not very often that we get to see ML (Mary Louise) and Lyndon as they live in Arizona, so when they were coming back to Kansas this year we decided to get together in Topeka. We also spent time in Marion with them at the family Memorial Lunch.
