Marie and I decided we didn’t want a lot of the goings on that happen when couples reach this milestone but settled for a celebration at the house here in Tulsa. We really got much more than we had anticipated. The kids had asked those on the Internet that we communicate with to send us cards. We ended up with a number of nice gifts and around 80 cards. We are really greatful to all those who sent gifts as well as cards.

Katlyn’s 13th birthday celebration was held at Matt’s and Kim’s place in Broken Arror OK. After the celebration a good meal was cooked and made by Matt, of course with help from Kim.

Laura had a trip to the Tulsa Zoo in July. It included Dustin and a few of his friends. I’ll put a few of the pictures out here but will try to get a DVD of all the animals created shortly. If you want to see the DVD, let me know and I’ll send you one.

My cousin Franklin Meyers who farms up in central Kansas, has a daughter, Sandra, who lives in Spain. I should really say she works in Spain, which is teaching at a University there and is also in politics. Anyway, we don’t get to see Sandra or her kids (she has 3 daughters) very often, so we have to depend on pictures.

Marie’s nephew’s (Keith Taylor) wife, Ronda Taylor, was graduated from “Practical Nursing” on July 23, 2009, at Drumright, Oklahoma. These are some of the pictures that were taken at these services. Matt and Laura’s 44 Anniversary Birthday Party was held at Laura and Steve’s place north-west of Skiatook, Oklahoma. It was the 19th of July even though their birthday was on the 16th. Everyone can attend on the weekends.
